This chart summarizes laboratory results that show 45 of 54 pits that Chevron claims to have "completely remediated" still contain illegal levels of toxic contaminants. Evidence such as this forms the basis for the 2008 indictment of two Chevron lawyers in Ecuador for fraud, in conjunction with the supposed remediation.
